All drivers must be present on collection and provide by email in advance of the hire date the following items:

1. Their photocard driving licence. If it is a non-photo card licence we also require some valid photo ID for example a copy of your passport. Hirers with foreign licences must present a valid passport on hire day.
2. Two recent proofs of addressg. a utility bills or bank statements. Mobile phone bills will not be accepted. The proofs must be dated within 90 days of the hire start date.
3. UK drivers only must provide their driving licence CHECK CODE OR their printed licence details which can both be retrieved from gov.uk/view-driving-licence. This will be requested 21 days before collection day.
4. Payment must be made on a credit or debit card in the hirers name. The card holder must be present on collection to sign and agree to the terms of the rental.

Please also note: Motorhomes: – A pre-authorised security deposit is required for all vehicles of between £1000 & £1500. This will be processed on a debit or credit card in the hirers name please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.

We refuse the right to hire should the hirer/driver not meet our insurance requirements. Hirers will remain liable for the cost of their booking if they do not meet the requirements. Please check before booking.

• Car & Commercial Vehicles: – A pre-authorised security deposit is required for all vehicles of £500. This will be processed on a debit or credit card in the hirers name please see our Terms and Conditions for further information.
• Additional Drivers: We include insurance for one driver. All drivers including extra drivers must be aged between 30 and 75 with no more than 6 points on their license. We are required by our insurers to have all bookings in the name of the main driver. 3 weeks prior to your hire start date we will ask you for ID for all drivers. This will include driving license checks and 2 proofs of ID including a utility bill. If this is a problem, please discuss with us prior to booking. Thank you. Please contact us if you require further clarification. Drivers must have passed their test more than 2 years ago.
• Pets: We welcome one well-behaved dog in selected motorhomes but do ask that the dog is kept off all beds and soft furnishings. £42 for duration of your hire.
• EU Cover (Motorhomes only): The following Countries are covered by the European Travel Insurance: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Only available on hires of 7 nights or longer. ***Please be aware we do not currently allow cars and commercial vehicles outside of the UK.***
• Loads: The hirer is responsible for the safe and secure loading of the vehicle and for ensuring that the maximum plated weight is not exceeded.
• Extension of hire: Hirers must inform the hiring depot if they wish to retain a vehicle beyond the agreed time or date of return. Failure to do so may result in the hirer driving without insurance.
• Availability of vehicles: TMC will make every effort to supply the vehicle ordered, or an acceptable substitute on time but cannot accept liability at any time for the consequences of our failure so to do.
• Tachographs: We currently do not hire vehicles in this category. ‘O’ Licence requirement: We currently do not hire vehicles in this area at the moment.
• Excess waiver: Vehicles will be insured with a £1000 excess applicable in the event of any incident/change of condition. Should you wish to, you can purchase excess waiver to reduce that excess liability to £250 per incident.
• Damage: Damage due to neglect and all damage to vehicles above screen height is the hirer’s responsibility and is not covered by the excess waiver.

We reserve the right to alter these rates and conditions at any time and refuse to hire to any person without reason.
